Spain trials HD over DTT

Spain has started test transmissions for HDTV over its digital terrestrial system. Two trials are taking place: in Spain’s capital city of Madrid, and commercial centre of Barcelona. Four channels are involved: Canal+ HD, Telecinco HD, Go TV and public broadcaster TVE.

New licences should be issued this June.
