France TV to launch new catch-up TV service

France Télévisions will launch its own catch-up TV service available to all internet users in the second part of 2010, the group announced.

The new service becomes possible as an exclusive catch-up TV deal with Orange comes to its end on April 21.

FTV’s service will offer, through a centralized platform, all kinds of programmes including drama coming from the various channels. Until now the group was able to broadcast a few shows and news editions only.
