French retailer Auchan will launch its own triple-play box on Feb 15 in the Paris region and on Feb 24 in the rest of France.
Operated under the brand Auchan Telecom, this broadband offer has been named the Auchan Box, and will use Numericable-Completel cable and fiber network. Another retailer, Darty, and telco Bouyges Telecom, already have similar offers through Numericable’s network. Numericable passes some 8.3 million homes.
Available in Auchan’s 72 stores, Auchan Box will give access to two offers: one with high broadband internet and fixed phone for €16.99 a month and another for very high broadband internet, fixed phone and TV for €24.99. Further, a 160GB PVR box will also be available.
