Euronews wins EU call for tender

European news channel Euronews has announced it has been selected by the Europan Union following a call for bids to produce and broadcast its whole programming into the Persian (Farsi) language.
This new service will strenghten Euronews’ offer in Iran and among Persian populations worldwide.
With the arrival of this service in the coming months and the launch in a few days from now of the Turkish service, Euronews will broadcast its programmes in 10 languages.
