Hawaii Five-0 to return

hawaiifive0Hawaii Five-0 was a ratings winner around the planet from 1968-1980. The prospects for an updated return are good.

In the USA it was CBS which ran the series, which then starred Jack Lord as Steve McGarrett with his catchphrase “book ‘em Danno” episode wrap, spoken to side-kick Dan Williams (played by James MacArthur).

The scheme now is that last year’s pilot for CBS will be developed into a full season. The Hollywood Reporter trade newspaper is saying that CBS has ordered up the series.
