Following a meeting of its board of administrators, public service broadcaster France Télévisions has announced it expects its 2010 deficit to be half that forecast earlier – €44.3m vs the previously-expected €98.9m.
This result still must be confirmed during the first quarter of next year. French group, which is currently preparing a huge reform of structure, added that its business plan forecasts to reach operating balance in 2011 and net balance in 2012.
The group has also determined its three financial priorities for 2010 will be investment into French content creation, DTT launch in oversea territories and the kick-off of regional internet TV.
