Hit hard by the global advertising recession, French association SNPTV has worked out a creative way to advertise advertising itself.
SNPTV, which counts among its members the ad divisions of TV groups TF1, M6, Canal+, Lagardère, MTV and TMC, has launched its first TV campaign aiming at promoting advertising among the audience.
The campaign bets that advertising is a creative show and develops this idea into three commercials. Clipping 27 takes extracts from recent ad spots, and are made up as a tribute to all people working in the sector.
The campaign will be broadcast until January 4 on the 30 channels whose advertising activities are handled by the agency members of the SNPTV.
