German DTH package Fernsehpaket, which is available to subscribers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland via Eurobird 9 (9° East), is expanding to Denmark.
Danish distribution partner HPT ApS will market music channels volksmusik.tv and TVCountry from Fernsehpaket as a pay-TV offer for satellite households, using the brand "TV for mig" (TV for me).
"Danish viewers are very interested in German folk music and pop music. We are pleased to be able to offer our package ‘TV for mig' with these interesting music channels to Danish viewers", said HPT managing director Henrik Mikkelsen.
While volksmusik.tv screens German popular music, folk songs and traditional music, TVCountry focuses on country music from America, Germany and Austria. In addition to Denmark, Fernsehpaket is also planning to expand to other countries outside German-speaking Europe.
