The former head of German TV group ProSiebenSat.1, Guillaume de Posch, could be Mark Williams' successor as CEO of pay-TV operator Sky Deutschland, reports German industry publication Kontakter, referring to rumours within the Munich-based broadcaster.
De Posch, who is currently engaged as an advisor to the Greek Antenna Group, has been a member of Sky's supervisory board since July. The Belgian executive has experience with pay-TV through his former activities as deputy managing director and programme director of French pay-TV platform TPS.
News magazine Der Spiegel reported a week ago that the current Sky Deutschland CEO Mark Williams was considering leaving the company, perhaps before the end of the year. The restructuring of the ailing broadcaster under Williams' guidance has so far been met with little success.
