ILS delays Eutelsat launch

Eutelsat's W7 satellite is spending a cool night atop a giant Proton rocket, its launch delayed by 24 hours.

Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center and International Launch Services (ILS) say - somewhat worryingly - that "there are no technical issues concerning the Proton rocket or the satellite" which makes one wonder what it is doing still on the launch pad.

However, the launch (which should have taken place on Monday morning Kazakhstan-time, has been rescheduled for Tuesday (8:19pm local time in Baikonur (14:19 GMT, 3:19 PM in Paris, 9:19 AM, EST).
