Following a call for bids for broadcasting rights to the Roland-Garros Tennis Tournament (French Open) for the 2010-2013 seasons, France Télévisions is reportedly again about to win the contract.

According to sport daily L’Equipe, the contract, with the French Federation of Tennis, should be signed next week, granting France Télévisions broadcasting rights for a total amount of €15.5m each year. However, the public service broadcaster will be able to sub-licence rights to sport channels Eurosport and Orange Sport, for €2.5m.

Roland-Garros mobile rights are already owned by Orange, for a total amount of €1m.
