Programming market NATPE will be in Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay hotel next year, as usual, but for 2011 it will relocate to Miami. NATPE boss Rick Feldman says the organisation will book the entire Fontainebleu Hotel, along with the Eden Rock next door.
Feldman says NATPE’s “increasingly international” audience will appreciate the move. NATPE has a firm contract in place for 2011 for Miami and an option for 2012.
The upcoming show (January 25-27) is just a 3-day event with exhibitors having the option to either showcase their wares on the show floor or in hotel suites. Shrinking attendance levels have prompted this re-think.
