At the end of 2008, services to mobile phones in France registered 58.07 million customers, reports telco regulatory body Arcep.
Penetration rate rose from 87.6% (55.36 million customers) at the end of 2007 to 91.3% a year later. Using the networks of historical operators Orange, SFR and Bouygues, MVNO reached 2,8096,100 customers on December 31 2008. Their market share grew 0.31% over one year to reach 5.19%.
