Bahrain to digitise Ch44

The Gulf island state of Bahrain has issued a tender document (Ref 7/2008) at the end of last month for the supply, installation and commissioning of new digital kit for its Channel 44 station.

The end result will see Channel 44 transmitting a DVB-T signal.

The Tender is open to international players and closes on March 25.
