TF1, Numericable sign multi-year deal

Group TF1 and cable operator Numericable signed a multi-year deal at the end of last year that renews the broadcasting licences of 10 channels.

On cable and fiber, Numericable’s subs keep the possibility to watch TF1, Eurosport France, Eurosport 2, LCI, TV Breizh, Odyssée, Ushuaïa TV and Histoire as well as TF1 and M6 co-owned channels TF6 and Série Club. The deal also includes an immediate access to TF1 and Ushuaïa HD versions and a later one to Eurosport France as of July 2009.

Subscribers also get a access to a new catch-up TV service for channels Eurosport France, Eurosport 2, LCI, Odyssée, Ushuaïa TV and Histoire. This adds to the video-on-demand service already offered by TF1 Vision since April 2008.
