Eurosport HD adds to CanalSat package

Pay-TV sport channel Eurosport is now available in HD in France, exclusively distributed by CanalSat.

Over the first year, the channel will offer around 2,000 hours of programming in native HD. The first HD event took place this past weekend for France’s Swimming Championship. The broadcast included an HD Night overnight from December 6 to 7.

Since the end of October, CanalSat has been offering five HD channels – TF1, France 2, Arte and M6, as well as pay-TV Canal+.
