Grande Communications, the Texas-based industry-leading provider of high-speed Internet, digital TV and phone services, has rolled out TV everywhere.
The Grande2Go service is available via web, iOS and Andriod devices, and provides on-the-go access to hundreds of shows, movies and live channels. Blending the intuitive and TiVo guide with a library of content that customers can access when they want, wherever they are – overall, Grande2Go includes access to programming from over 50 top networks, including ABC, A&E, CNN, Disney, ESPN, NBC, Fox, USA Network and others.
"As consumer viewing evolves beyond traditional TV, Grande will continue to innovate to offer the flexibility our customers want and need," said Matt Rohre, senior vice president of operations and general manager for Grande. "Grande2Go empowers our customers to watch their favorite programming whenever and wherever they want – on any screen."
Users have the ability to watch live TV, access past and current seasons, and build personal recorded or watch lists – the Grande2Go app can also be used as an extra remote control at home.
The news comes in the face of suggestions that US TV everywhere development is slowing. But research from Parks Associates has shown usage of authenticated TV everywhere has grown 22% since 2013.
