Elemental Technologies is readying new video ingest, processing and delivery capabilities available with Elemental software release v2.9.

elementalThe major release will be unveiled at NAB 2016 and will offer new features to a customer base that now exceeds 850 pay-TV providers, content programmers, broadcasters and enterprises in 75 countries around the world.

New features and technology highlights in the new release encompass high dynamic range, virtual reality, 8K Ultra HD video encoding, live broadcasting from the cloud, server-side ad insertion, multiscreen monetisation, SDI over IP, live channel playout, dynamic content control, motion graphic overlay.
