TDF Media Services has announced the merger of its subsidiary Cognacq-Jay Image, PSN, Qbrick and SmartJog into the single media services brand Arkena.

Arkena now covers the entire media services value chain: from playout to head-end services, content delivery to transcoding and storage, and OTT content publication to content delivery networks.

Arkena is one of the largest Euro audiovisual service entities bringing together the expertise of 500 employees across nine countries and specialising in content management and video services.

Arkena aims to provide market-leading solutions along with professional services based on its experience in the broadcast world, multi-platform content management and delivery, along with a powerful network and systems infrastructure.

Arkena’s linear playout and head-end services thus enable a fully outsourced technical operation of linear TV channels and their onwards distribution to any platform.

Its OTT solution also provides operators, content owners and broadcasters with a package of linear and non-linear content as well as interactive services, to every screen and through the Internet.
