BRB Internacional has become one of the first animation aggregators on a global level on YouTube.
An international company founded in Spain with 40 years of experience in the production, distribution and licensing of TV programmes, BRB already has its own YouTube channel, available in eight languages, as well as several other channels for its different series - Bernard, Suckers and Canimals.
In this new deal, the Spanish production house is to host aggregated viewers' content, aiming to use its experience in the fields of channel management and digital rights to help other companies enhance their audiovisual spaces on the online video destination. It says that it will achieve this by orienting content in such a way as to maximise the performance of their content and by acting as a link between content creators and media agencies and advertisers.
In being a content aggregator, it will also take care of the management and the optimisation of both its own and other owners' content networks, by constantly updating and adapting to new formats - capsules, webisodes and interactive media.
Commenting on what his company may offer, Marijo Arnáiz, director of digital media for BRB Internacional, said: "The association is natural given that most video consumers in the world use YouTube. And it is a great honour really that the leading website for video in the world has given us the opportunity to become an associate aggregator for animation on a global level, principally because of our demonstrated capacity to generate viewing traffic".
