Telemundo Media has added a pair of Miami-based programming executives to help develop additional Hispanic programming for the US market. Jesús Torres Viera has joined the team as executive vice president of programming and content, while Daniel Cubillo will become vice president of content development for non-scripted, in a newly created role.

"Jesús is a well-respected industry leader who has a deep understanding of the multi-platform TV experience, and Daniel is one of television's most sought after and creative producers whose vision will be an important part of our growth in the years ahead. These roles are pivotal to Telemundo's ongoing success and a great addition to the executive team."
Torres Viera will work will develop and execute the company's overall programming, content and scheduling strategy. He will also be in charge of the content roll-out strategy across media platforms as well as programme planning and development and promotional scheduling. Prior to his appointment, Torres Viera was a partner and consultant for Jtvmedia and Ploptv.
Cubillo will identify and develop variety and unscripted content for the network. He will also manage the greenlight process for all original non-scripted programmes. Cubillo previously served as a content manager and creative director for Univision Studios, where he was an executive producer and creative director for a number of reality shows, including Nuestra Belleza Latina and Mira Quien Baila.
Cubillo will report to Torres Viera.
