MTV Networks France and cable-operator Numericable have linked to launch the company's first double-play TV offer. Targeting young adults, this pack gathers HD TV, internet access and video-on-demand for a moderate €14.90 fee.

MTV Box HD gives access to almost 30 channels and includes MTV Networks’ nets, along with six HD channels such as Game One Music HD, all free-to-air DTT channels and free HD DTT channels.

Subscribers will also get access to Numericable’s VOD library that comprises more than 8,000 programmes including 5,000 films and series. Each month, five MTV shows will also be offered for on-demand viewing and made available through a dedicated interactive portal that also includes MTV’s catch-up TV service.

Meanwhile, the French cable-operator will also launch on December 6 a low-cost triple play offer for a €19.90 fee each month, vs €30 previously.

At first, such an offer will be available to 5 million households before being extended to the whole 9.4 million plugs of the network by the end of 2011.

For this price, clients will get all DTT HD channels, web and free unlimited phone to 53 countries. But VOD is not included in this offer.

Until now, the standard triple play fee first launched by Free and then followed by competitors was fixed up to €29.90. However, the TV service is a little bit larger as it also includes foreign channels.
